East San Jose Regional Manager
Jennifer was born and raised in Los Angeles and is a proud daughter of Mexican immigrants. She moved to the Bay Area when she transferred to the University of California, Berkeley where she earned her Bachelor's Degree. While at Cal, she was introduced to and had the opportunity to work in college access efforts. After graduating and working for a year in this field, Jennifer decided to pursue her Master's Degree from the University of San Francisco. Her commitment to social justice and to become an agent of change stemmed from seeing her community constantly face systemic inequities. Pursuing a career in college access and higher education is just one avenue in which she is an advocate and a servant leader to underrepresented communities like her own. This August marks Jennifer’s seventh academic year with DCAC and she is excited to work alongside all of you to make college a viable option for all students. On her free time, she enjoys learning about new subject matters, dancing, and cooking Paleo/Whole30 meals.
