Erika Guerra is a California native, raised in Los Angeles. After graduating from Bellflower High School Erika relocated to Chico, Ca to attend California State University, Chico where she earned her bachelors degree in Psychology and Multicultural & Gender Studies. During her time in Chico, she became involved in various student life programs where she discovered her love and passion for serving others. She went on to hold multiple positions on her campus in areas such as first-year experience programs, peer education programs, and more where she assisted students in navigating the campus and assisted in helping students in need obtain access to a variety of resources. Erika is excited for the opportunity to continue this work with the DCAC to help younger generations of students navigate their path to higher education. In the future, Erika plans to attend graduate school to obtain a masters degree in higher education.
