Meet our returning alumni!

One of DCAC's dual missions is to change the face of education by preparing our College Adviser Fellows to be future educators and leaders. As alumni transition out of DCAC to pursue their educational and career goals, some return. Meet the DCAC Alumni who are still with us today!

Yadira Antonio - Assistant Director

Yadira served Pioneer High School from 2015 to 2017. After Yadira’s service years, she earned a master’s in public policy with an emphasis on education and nonprofits from the University of Southern California. Yadira then returned to the Bay Area and worked as a program coordinator for The Peninsula College Fund, supporting first-generation and low-income college students to graduate. She returned to UC Berkeley to work for the Alumni Association, overseeing various scholarship programs. Today, she serves as Assistant Director for East San Jose.

Gina Saechao - Assistant Director

Gina served San Lorenzo High School from 2014 to 2016. After Gina's service years, she earned a Master's in Counseling with a PPS Credential and worked as an Academic Counselor at De Anza High School. She now serves as an Assistant Director in DCAC for the West County region and co-leads the Professional Development Resource Committee (PDRC).

Althea Jardeleza - Assistant Director

Althea served Boost@BerkeleyHaas from 2015 to 2017. She also co-founded the Fellow Adviser Board (FAB), which consists of current College Adviser Fellows who work closely with DCAC Staff to strengthen the College Adviser Fellow experience. After Althea's service years, she worked with the East Bay Solano County Consortium and earned a Master's in Education. She now serves as an Assistant Director in DCAC for the Oakland region and co-leads FAB.

Yee Leng Vang - AD of Data Analysis

Yee Leng served Oakland Technical High School from 2015 to 2017. After Yee Leng's service years, he worked with the East Bay Solano County Consortium and now serves as the Assistant Director of Data Analysis in DCAC. He also co-leads the Data Assessment, Research, and Evaluation (DARE) Committee who work to strengthen, innovate, and elevate DCAC's data infrastructure.
