Brenda Recinos is from a beach town called Pacifica, which is located right outside of San Francisco. Ms. Recinos is passionate about social justice issues and is actively involved in her community. She doubled majored in Sociology and Spanish at Sonoma State University. Brenda studied abroad for an entire academic year in Madrid, España where all her classes were taught in Spanish. Through this experience, Brenda discovered that she really enjoys traveling and learning about different cultures. Additionally, Brenda held leadership roles at Sonoma State and was a part of EOP. During her undergrad, Brenda established a passion for student affairs and specifically enjoys working with first-generation and underrepresented students. As a first-generation college graduate herself, Brenda is eager to use her educational experience to help provide insight to students on the college process and how to overcome obstacles along the way. Lastly, Brenda was also a cast member of the Vagina Monologues.
