Alejandra Diaz Mireles

As a Mexican immigrant Alejandra first moved to San Jose, California and then to the Central Valley where she grew up to be interested into teaching and counseling. Through her educational experiences she has become dedicated to be an aid for students to be able to achieve academic success. Alejandra pursued her bachelors in psychology and education at UC Merced and is excited to soon be able to apply her experiences and education into the field she is devoted to. Throughout her educational and professional career, she has had the opportunities to assist in classrooms in London, learn about education systems around the world, specifically in Australia and have multiple experiences in K-12 classrooms. Through these involvements she has picked up skills and systems she is ready to implement to our education system which will benefit our students and their futures.
